“Ultra Mega” coal-burning power plant complex in Gujarat state - "Yes, we can." BUT liberals here in the USA are loathe to let average Americans have low cost electricity - "NO, YOU CAN'T"

---

India starts building “Ultra Mega” coal-burning power plant complex in Gujarat state with global endorsement; however, the same liberals here in the USA won’t let average Americans have reasonably priced electricity, much less cheap coal fired electricity...

BUT in India -

NO PROBLEM

The Indians can even have a low interest World Bank loan - the plant is so massive, it will emit at least 23 million TONS of carbon dioxide a year

The Observer is not making this up: twenty-three M-I-L-L-I-O-N  T-O-N-S

Speaking of irony: the World Bank is packed full of rich liberals shouting, "Yes, we can."  And a nuclear power plant, with zero emissions, is out of the question.  How poetic!

Talk about a cruel utopian illusion?  "NO, YOU CAN'T!!!!"
