‘Iraq safer than Afghanistan’

As far as the American people are concerned, Iraq has always been a performance complaint, not a values complaint. The vast majority of Americans want to win in Iraq and Afghanistan. On the far left, America’s efforts to wage a balanced national security effort, combining offense and defense, are a mistake and a value complaint. The far-left wants a 'defense only' criminal justice model like Clinton waged for eight years.

BTW - the defense only, criminal justice model led the USA right into 9-11
