This major headline, it's the ultimate "double entendre" and sharp stick in the eye to millions of feckless, far-left, Europeans and some ultra far-left Obama voters in America: "Elections Bring Change to Iraq"
“Iraq election successful with no major violence”
A few remaining "far-left, political insurgents" here in America are upset at this:
Massive Strategic Victory in Iraq
The Observer loves this major headline, it's the ultimate "double entendre" and sharp stick in the eye to millions of feckless, far-left, Europeans and some ultra far-left Obama voters in America:
"Elections Bring Change to Iraq"
Massive strategic success in Iraq - 11 hours of nationwide voting and no violence!
Barry’s hometown of Chicago far more violent than the entire country of Iraq on the same day.
Elections Bring Change to Iraq
Something new is coming to Iraq. The signs are in the air, plastered on walls, buildings, light posts lining the road and even strung between buildings. Provincial elections are being held today.

Chris Matthews speaking on MSNBC immediately after George Bush’s farewell address: “The Arab street has always been radical. It’s the Arab leaders who are moderate, who you can talk with. Bush's ideas will not work in the Muslim world.”
Translation from far-left into English:
"So what, the Iraqi democrats are winning and, winning big-time in Iraq, it's all Bush's fault. Average Muslims are too stupid to make participatory Islam work. Helping the Iraqi children and women secure their liberty is less important than key, Democrat pork barrel projects back in the USA. You need to shut up while we Democrats build 20 bridges to no where. Do what Pelosi tells you."
The American far-left claimed 'participatory Islam' would not work!
The European and American far-left were WRONG having continuously screamed in 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006 and 2007 that average Muslims were too stupid to make participatory Islam work and that the rest of the world should let 'them' have 'their' civil war. Remember the endless, far-left drivel? Remember the insane Code Pink ladies? Remember Nancy Pelosi in 2003? Remember John Murtha in 2004? Remember the far-left parade of 'Surrender-crats' in the US Senate on CNN every day? Remember Senator Ted Kennedy? Remember Senator Chuck Schummer?
The important thing to remember going forward is that the far-left is almost ALWAYS WRONG about almost everything! Participatory Islam in Iraq proves JUST THIS POINT!!!
The European far-left was 100% WRONG about Iraq and WRONG about average Muslims!
Helping the Iraqi children and women secure their liberty was NOT:
a "bad idea"
or
a "mistake"
Average Muslims understand democracy and participatory Islam BETTER than the far-left, national socialists in the West.
According to AFPS:
"Election results are being widely accepted by victors and vanquished alike," Maj. Gen. David Perkins said in Iraq.
“If you take a look at emerging democracies, historically, it is generally the second election that is sometimes more difficult than the first election,” the general said. “By the time the second election comes, those who may have to lose power or give up power are not necessarily as excited about doing that."
“But the fact that we've had this second election and a very large number of people participating, both as candidates and as voters,” Maj. Gen. David Perkins continued, “shows the enthusiasm that Iraqis have for the democratic process here in Iraq.”
Army Maj. Gen. David Perkins, director for strategic effects at Multi-National Force - Iraq, told reporters in Baghdad the downtick in violence marks a 90-percent decrease since the surge of U.S. troops began in 2007.
Perkins added that on Feb. 20, no Iraqi civilians were killed or even targeted in attacks.
“This is a very significant event, and we are seeing more and more days like that throughout Iraq,” he said.
He added that Iraqi forces led and planned security for the countrywide provincial elections last month, in which some 7 million Iraqis participated in balloting that featured 14,000 registered candidates.

However, average democrats in America still have not internalized the obvious fact that many voters on the far-left were fully WRONG about Iraq, Iraqis and average Muslims.
Clearly, average American democrats fall back on the only narrative they know. In fact, the only narrative they were ever taught. Starting in 2003, the only narrative fed to average democrat voters in America was:
"Iraq is a bad idea."
However, in 2009, it is plain to the entire world:
* "Iraq is a success because average Muslims 'get' participatory Islam and democracy."
* "Reasonable people agree, helping theses young Iraqis secure their liberty was obviously NOT a 'bad idea.'"
* "In 2009, it is 'closet racism' to still 'think' Iraq was a bad idea."
Bottom-line: there are many on the far-left like Chris Matthews who continue to see average Iraqi Democrats and even average Muslims as an inherent disaster that must simply be abandoned. Five years later, the far-left is still WRONG.
